Scope and responsible party

This policy applies to use of this site (matchwire.ai) and to use of the hosted service and marketplace that matchwire operates as the provider (both before launch).

For the self-hosted version of matchwire, the organization that deploys it is the party responsible for handling personal information. matchwire's operator does not come into contact with usage data in self-hosted environments.

For information about the party responsible for handling data (the operator), see the Operator Information & Specified Commercial Transactions Act Disclosure.

Information collected on this site

Cookies and access analytics

This site does not use cookies. It also does not employ any access-analytics tools (as things currently stand). If we introduce them, we will revise this policy and give notice.

Inquiries

If you contact us by email (contact@matchwire.ai), we obtain your name, contact details, and the content of your inquiry, and use them to respond to your inquiry.

Technical logs

Technical logs, including IP addresses and the like, may be generated on this site's delivery infrastructure. These are handled only within the scope of keeping the site running stably and guarding against unauthorized access.

How data is handled in the product

The following is the data-handling design built into the matchwire product. When matchwire begins providing the hosted service and marketplace, these will apply as the operator's commitments.

Tiered disclosure — undisclosed by default

The extent to which a candidate's information is disclosed to companies and organizations follows a tiered system based on the person's consent (undisclosed → anonymous → full). The default is undisclosed, and nothing is disclosed unless the person consents.

Consent is the person's own act — it cannot be delegated to AI

Granting and withdrawing consent regarding disclosure is an act the person performs on the service's screen. It cannot be delegated to an AI agent.

The history of consent and withdrawal is preserved in an append-only form, so it can later show when and to what the person consented and when they withdrew it.

Records of disclosure

When a candidate's information is disclosed across organizations, that disclosure is recorded together with its legal basis.

Deletion — immediate and synchronous, with no grace period

The person can delete their account and data at any time. Deletion is carried out immediately and cannot be undone. There is no grace period.

Records kept for legal compliance, such as consent, disclosure, and hiring-process history, remain as anonymous records that cannot be linked to the person (at the moment of deletion, the association with the person is discarded and cannot be restored). This same information is also shown, in the same terms, on the screen before deletion is carried out.

Export

The data the person provided (their profile) can be retrieved (exported) at any time in JSON Resume format.

Records of human approval

Records of a human approving an AI agent's actions are retained for at least 6 months from the standpoint of legal compliance.

Special-care-required personal information

We provide no channel for collecting special-care-required personal information such as medical history, beliefs, or criminal record.

Provision overseas

At this stage, we do not provide personal data to third parties located in foreign countries.

Third-party provision, security management, and inquiries

Purpose of use

We use the personal information we obtain to provide this site and matchwire's services, to respond to inquiries, to prevent misuse, and to respond as required by law.

Third-party provision

Except in the case of tiered disclosure based on the person's consent and in cases based on law, we do not provide personal data to third parties.

Outsourcing

We may outsource the operation of infrastructure such as site delivery and email to outside businesses. We have such contractors handle only the information within the necessary scope, and we supervise them appropriately.

Security management

We limit access to personal data to the minimum necessary and take reasonable security-management measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, and the like.

Requests for disclosure and the like

Requests for the disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and the like of retained personal data are accepted by email (contact@matchwire.ai). After confirming your identity, we respond in accordance with the law.

Revisions

If we revise this policy, we will give notice by updating the version number, last-updated date, and revision history on this page. Significant changes will be announced clearly on this site.
