These are the terms of use for this site (matchwire.ai) and for the paid plans and hosted service that matchwire provides (before launch).

Chapter 1 Common Provisions
Article 1 (Application)
1. These terms apply to use of this site (matchwire.ai) and to use of matchwire's paid plans and hosted service provided by the operator (before launch; hereinafter the "Service").
2. In these terms, the "operator" means the operator of this site and the Service (as stated in the Operator Information & Specified Commercial Transactions Act Disclosure).
3. Where an individual agreement is concluded at the time of application for a paid plan, the provisions of that agreement take precedence over these terms.
4. Where the matchwire software is used self-hosted, that use is governed by the software's license (AGPL-3.0 or a commercial license) and is outside the scope of these terms.
Article 2 (Accounts)
1. An account for an individual who works (a candidate) is registered by the person themselves.
2. An account for a company or organization user is registered based on an invitation from that organization's administrator.
3. Candidate accounts and company/organization user accounts are managed by separate mechanisms, and their authentication credentials (email address, password, etc.) cannot be shared between them.
4. Users shall manage their own authentication credentials at their own responsibility and shall not allow third parties to use them.
Article 3 (Use of AI agents)
1. matchwire adopts a design that requires human approval for important actions such as applying, sending scout messages, and making hiring decisions. An AI agent operates only within the scope of approval a human has granted in advance.
2. Granting and withdrawing consent regarding the disclosure of personal information is an act the person performs themselves on the service's screen. It cannot be delegated to an AI agent.
Article 4 (Prohibited acts)
Users shall not engage in the following acts.
- Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
- Acts of registering false information
- Acts that infringe the rights or interests of other users or third parties
- Unauthorized access, acts that impose an excessive load, and other acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
- Acts of lending authentication credentials to third parties or sharing them
- Acts of using information obtained on matchwire in violation of these terms or the law
Article 5 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)
1. The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of this site and the Service as necessary for maintenance, incident response, or other purposes.
2. For services and features that have not yet launched, the operator does not guarantee the timing or content of their launch.
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
1. The operator does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, usefulness, or the like of the content of this site and the Service.
2. The operator is not liable for any damage incurred by a user through the use of this site or the Service, except where caused by the operator's intent or gross negligence.
3. Notwithstanding the preceding 2 paragraphs, where the Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory laws apply, their provisions shall govern.
Article 7 (Changes to the terms)
1. Where the operator determines it to be necessary, it may change these terms in accordance with the provisions of law.
2. The revised terms apply from the point at which they are posted on this page and the version number, last-updated date, and revision history are updated. Significant changes will be announced on this site for a reasonable period before they take effect.
Article 8 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
1. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
2. For any dispute arising between the operator and a user in relation to this site or the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreed court of jurisdiction for the first instance.
Chapter 2 Candidates (individuals who work)
Article 9 (Usage fees)
There is no fee for use as an individual who works (a candidate). The operator does not charge candidates. This is a permanent policy.
Article 10 (Profile information and data rights)
1. Candidates shall endeavor to keep their profile information accurate and up to date.
2. Regarding control over the scope of disclosure of a candidate's information, deletion, and export, see the Privacy Policy.
Chapter 3 Company and organization users
Article 11 (Classification by purpose of use)
1. For company and organization use, the applicable plans and terms differ between use for the purpose of internal job postings and internal transfers and use for the purpose of recruitment agency work.
2. Use for the purpose of recruitment agency work is paid, including in the case of self-hosting (commercial license).
3. Where matchwire is used for work that requires a license for a fee-charging job placement business, the user themselves must hold that license.
Article 12 (Usage fees and payment)
1. The fees for paid plans are set out in the public pricing table. All prices shown exclude tax.
2. Payment does not affect visibility. Even on a paid plan, search results and match rankings do not change.
3. The payment method, payment timing, and cancellation terms for applications to paid plans are set out in the individual agreement concluded at the time of application.
Article 13 (Handling of candidate information)
1. Company and organization users shall use candidate information obtained on matchwire only within the scope of the purpose of hiring and selection, and shall not use, reproduce, or provide it to third parties beyond the scope of disclosure based on the person's consent.
2. In handling the matter under the preceding paragraph, please comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Employment Security Act, and other laws.
